Our Facility has been designated a human-powered boat launch by the New York State Greenway, and is part of the Hudson River Watertrail and the NYC Watertrail. Members of the public are welcome to bring their kayaks and canoes to our boathouse and use our dock for launching and landing during our hours of operation, provided they sign our standard liability waiver. We strongly recommend that you have qualifying training and/or experience paddling on the Hudson River before setting out on your own, and that you are familiar with the tides and currents in the Hudson River, which is actually a tidal estuary in the NYC area.
